Mount Joy has been here for 150 years. We have an active Main Street Program that does great things and has attracted some neat shops. When I was young I lived in Mount Joy for about 8 years. Saturday afternoon a friend and I would walk to the “downtown” area to shop and then stop at a diner on the walk back for a Coke.
Fourth Friday is always a fun night to walk the streets and take in the shops and eat along the way.

Eastland Alpacas, of course, this isn’t right in town but not far out either. These animals are just adorable and they have a little shop there that you can get alpaca wool for needlework, some other products and well as visit the alpacas themselves.

Uniquely Vintage is a new antique shop on Main Street.
